Reporting directly to the Associate Director of Research Operations, Morningside of Sponsored Projects Administration (SPA), the Senior Project Officer (Sr. PO) works closely with other staff members in the day-to-day SPA operations. The Sr. Project Officer is expected to deliver high-quality, customer-focused grants-management services, interacting with faculty and administrative staff to facilitate sponsored-project planning, program and administration, and to serve as the single point of contact for the Morningside campus in this regard. The Sr. Project Officer is expected to adhere to sponsor and University guidelines and procedures. This position requires problem-solving skills in a deadline-driven environment as well as the consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
