Columbia University Irving Medical Center (CUIMC) is a clinical, research, educational and community service enterprise with its central location in the Washington Heights neighborhood of New York.. 

CUIMC is comprised of four schools which provide leadership in scientific research, best-in-class healthcare, and compassionate patient care. They  are: Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, the School of Nursing, Mailman School of Public Health, and the College of Dental Medicine. We are also affiliated with NewYork-Presbyterian (NYP) and the New York State Psychiatric Institute. We have faculty, staff, and students at locations throughout the New York metropolitan area and beyond.
