Position Summary
Reporting to the Assistant Manager of Operations, the Housing Specialist will serve as a primary contact, ensuring excellent customer service within Residential Operations. This role supports students, faculty, researchers, administrators, and members of the University's neighboring community.
Responsibilities
Address and resolve client concerns by evaluating their needs and referring them to appropriate resources or key personnel within Columbia Residential or the University when necessary.
Manages cases for students, faculty, researchers, and others residing in Columbia Residential.
When needed, the Housing Specialist will meet with residents to assist in resolving issues.
Additionally, the Specialist will provide guidance and training on University policies, processes, and residential software in both individual and small group settings.
Responsible for close collaboration with other Columbia Residential team members and University departments to ensure client concerns are handled effectively.
Other duties include:
Administering customer satisfaction surveys.
Managing day-to-day front office operations.
Entering data, and generating reports on housing supply and assignments.
Additional responsibilities will include special projects and tasks as assigned.
