Position Summary

The Division of PEDS Gastroenterology is seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide scheduling and other administrative support.

Responsibilities

  • Provide secretarial and administrative support for multiple physicians in the Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology.
  • Answer telephone, screen and triage calls; respond to inquiries and take messages.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments; obtain and input all registration information.
  • Provide cross coverage for scheduling GI procedures and prior authorizations.
  • Generate Good Faith Estimates in EPIC, the electronic medical record system.
  • Attend to incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Scan documents (letters, lab results, etc.) into EPIC.
  • Performs related duties & responsibilities as assigned/requested.
  • This position is 100% onsite.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and experience required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Two years of related experience.
  • EPIC experience.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English.
