Position Summary

The Department of Epidemiology at the Mailman School of Public Health is recruiting a short-term casual research worker.  The short term casual will work closely with Dr. Keyes and the project director to support ongoing projects, including data collection, monitoring and evaluation, IRB and other regulatory support, and generating reports.

The incumbent will perform population health data analysis, including processing large datasets, performing statistical analyses, preparing manuscripts for submission to peer-reviewed journals, delivering presentations at scientific meetings, and providing other research and methodological support for existing and ongoing studies.


Responsibilities

  • Assist with management of ongoing studies (20%)
  • Conduct data analysis (20%)
  • Perform literature reviews (20%)
  • Draft manuscripts (20%)
  • Assist with grant proposal preparation (15%)
  • other related duties and responsibilities as assigned/requested (5%)

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree is required. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong writing skills and familiarity with data management and analysis are strongly preferred.
