Position Summary
The Allergy & Immunology and the Gastroenterology Eosinophilic Gastrointestinal Diseases Program seek an eligible Technician to work on a full-time basis. The laboratories use advanced techniques in mouse genetics, 3D organoid culture systems generated from human samples and mouse tissue as well as human pluripotent stem cells. Research will be conducted on both molecular mechanisms of reactive epithelial changes in pediatric eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE) and associated diseases as well as the genetics and immunopathology of inborn disorders of the immune system, with the ultimate goal of identifying pathways relevant for the diagnosis and treatment of both rare and common allergic and immunologic diseases.
The Technician will have responsibilities: 1) to acquire the experiences they need to advance their careers; and 2) to contribute to the program through research accomplishments, personal growth and interaction with others.
