Position Summary
The School of Nursing is looking to hire a Variable Hours Officer to work under the direction of a Principal Investigator’s program of research focusing improving the acceptability, usability, and patient-centerednes of consumer health informatics tools.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include:
- Conducts literature reviews
- Assists in collection of qualitative and quantitative data – primarily involving semi-structured interviews (qualitative) and surveys (mixed methods)
- Assists in creation of study database.
- Assists in analysis of conduct qualitative data and quantitative data, performing statistical analysis of research data.
- Supports grant and manuscript preparation.
-Performing other duties as assigned.
This is an internally funded position. Continued employment is based on availability of funding.
Minimum Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor’s Degree and experience Health Informatics or related field.
Previous research experience with qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis
Computer fluency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work well in a team
