Position Summary
Columbia University's Center for Radiological Research is looking for a Laboratory Technician B. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who will be part of a highly supportive close-knit research team. The research project relates to the effects of radiation in rodent models, with a number of exciting real-world clinical applications.
Responsibilities
The position is based at the Columbia University Radiological Research Accelerator Facility (RARAF). RARAF is part of Columbia Nevis Labs in Irvington, New York, and is readily accessible via the Metro-North Hudson Line train.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicant must meet these minimum qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, physics or related science or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Prior experience working with rodents, or interest in being trained to work with rodents, is required.
Preferred Qualifications
General knowledge of molecular and cellular biology is preferred.
