Position Summary
The candidate’s responsibilities will include joining the tele-rehab sessions and helping to lead group exercise activities. They will also learn how to design personalized exercise prescriptions for patients using the patient’s cardiopulmonary exercise test (CPET) results. They will help design daily exercises for the group to perform and modify individual patient’s needs. Additionally, they will assist with the rehab intake process which includes but is not limited to: administering questionnaires, performing CPETs, performing six-minute testing, and performing frailty assessments. They will also assist with post rehab follow-up testing. The candidate will also expand and improve upon their clinical exercise testing skills by helping to conduct CPETs and six-minute walk tests for the exercise program.
