Position Summary
Under the direction of the Sterilization Manager, the incumbent is responsible for maintaining the sterilization area and all instrumentation that requires reprocessing. Lead Technician B, Sterilization, serves as a senior member of the sterilization team, providing guidance and coordination of daily workflow under the direction of the Supervisor/Manager.
While Lead Technician B, Sterilization, may assist in delegating tasks and facilitating communication among staff during the Supervisor’s absence, this position does not include supervisory authority. A Supervisor or designated officer will always be on call to provide managerial oversight and support as needed.
