The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. Position Summary

Reporting to the Head Women's Basketball Coach, the General Manager, Women's Basketball provides administrative and support services to the varsity women's basketball program. The incumbent assists with special projects, as assigned by the Head Women’s Basketball Coach or the Director of Athletics.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinating and assisting in all team travel arrangements, practice, and game day operations.
  • Maintaining alumni database and assisting with alumni and development activities.
  • Coordinating summer employment opportunities and job placement for student-athletes, as well as other logistics associated with both.
  • Serving as liaison for all technology services associated with the program.
  • Serving as Camp Director, overseeing all camp logistics including hiring, securing dates and times, and organization.
  • Coordinating all community service and civic engagement initiatives.
  • Overseeing all wellness initiatives within the program.
  • Coordinating all team functions (including but not limited to team meetings, professional development opportunities, alumni events, end-of-season banquet, etc.).
  • Managing WBCA membership and convention registration for all staff members.
  • Managing all team and staff calendars.
  • Serving as liaison to Nike/BSN; handling all ordering, branding, and distribution of product, as well as any additional equipment.
  • Serving as liaison to Equipment, Facilities, Marketing, Ticketing, and External/Internal Communications.
  • Assisting with recruiting responsibilities for on-campus visits.
  • Supervising student managers and maintaining office materials and supplies.
  • Assisting in special projects in areas such as, but not limited to, gender equity and diversity issues, student athlete programming and well-being initiatives, and NCAA and Ivy League-related matters.
  • Exhibiting the highest professional standards and ethical behavior with adherence to NCAA, Ivy League Conference, University, and the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and Physical Education rules and regulations, and/or Code of Ethics.
  • Contributing to the maintenance of good working relationships with all members of the Department.
  • Assuming other duties as assigned by the Director of Intercollegiate Athletics and Physical Education.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent related experience required.
  • 2 - 4+ years related experience required.
  • Must demonstrate excellent writing and computer skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; work flexible hours.
  • Successful background in intercollegiate athletics as a student-athlete, coach, or administrator.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Must be able to work effectively with students, faculty, administrators, alumni, and the public.
  • Ability to work within the framework of NCAA and Ivy League regulations.
