Position Summary

The purpose of this job is to fulfill and support the statistical collaboration needs from faculty members in the Department of Biostatistics which includes performing analysis, programming, writing.

Responsibilities

• Perform statistical analysis and programming support consultations and collaborative projects under faculty supervision - 65 %
• Participate in statistical consultations with clinicians and researchers and present results from analysis at collaborative meetings-10%
• Perform protocol, statistical analysis plan, grant and manuscript writing - 10 %
• Set up and evaluate data management tools and perform data queries for studies - 10 %
• Performs related duties & responsibilities as assigned/requested - 5 %

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience required

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in statistics or biostatistics. 
• At least 3 years of data analytic and statistical analysis experience. Advanced education/degree may substitute for experience.
• Proven ability in SAS, R, ans STATA.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
