Position Summary
The Technician B will catalog all incoming biospecimen samples, process all of the samples into buffy coat, plasma, saliva, serum, and urine aliquots and store them in the -80 freezers. The Technician B will also assist with logging and delivering biospecimens from the collection points across the Medical Center campus. The incumbent will be responsible for maintaining laboratory supplies, diligent record keeping, preparing solutions and performing other related duties necessary to the functioning of the Biobank. Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience handling blood specimens.
Experience with automated liquid handling systems
Other Requirements
The desired candidate must be detail oriented; possess excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills. Must be able to multi-task, work independently as well as part of a team, and work well under pressure.
