The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
 

Position Summary

The Center for Infection and Immunity (cii.columbia.edu) in the Mailman School of Public Health - one of the world's most advanced academic centers for research in infectious disease surveillance, diagnosis and discovery in acute and chronic illnesses - has an opening for a temporary short-term casual position to work on lab.

This position will assist with research coordination activities for the Center for Infection and Immunity. The Center engages in a vast range of projects as they relate to epidemiological and basic/biological research.


Responsibilities

  • Assist with analysis of clinical metadata – 65%
  • Technician support in lab – 25%
  • Other related duties as assigned – 10%

Minimum Qualifications

Requirements: One year of undergraduate studies completed or combination of work experience and college studies preferred.
