Position Summary
The Herbert Irving Comprehensive Cancer Center (HICCC) is seeking a Non-Student Short-Term Casual. The incumbent will perform multiple assignments under direct supervision in a laboratory setting.
Responsibilities
- Assist with preparing materials for and supporting experiments.
- Assist with ordering and maintaining laboratory supplies.
- Assist with maintaining a lab notebook or related records.
- Assist with performing database analysis tasks.
- Assist with supporting bioinformatics analysis.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned/requested.
Minimum Qualifications
Other Requirements
- No prior related experience required.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
- Familiarity with Excel, cell and molecular biology protocols, patient-derived organoid cultures, and cell culture.
- Ability to follow direction and work under direct supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Work will be conducted in a standard laboratory environment for cell and molecular biology experiments.
