Position Summary
Join our team as a Lead Nurse Practitioner within the Division of Digestive & Liver Disease (DLD) and play a key leadership role in overseeing clinical nursing operations to ensure exceptional patient care delivery. The Lead Nurse Practitioner will manage a dynamic clinical team of Advanced Practice Providers (Nurse Practitioners) and nursing staff (RNs) across multiple ambulatory sites.
This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring programs, policies, and workflows that support high-quality patient care, operational efficiency, and staff productivity. The DLD practice serves a diverse patient population with gastrointestinal and hepatology conditions.
The position includes an estimated 80% clinical and 20% administrative effort and works in close partnership with clinical leadership, faculty physicians, and administrative teams under the direction of the Division Chief and Division leadership.
Practice locations include the main CUIMC campus and ambulatory sites throughout Manhattan and Westchester.
