Position Summary
The Office of Student Affairs at the Columbia School of Social Work, along with the Disability Services Accommodations (DS) team, is looking to hire a part-time Student Disability Services Coordinator (VHO). This is a part-time role aimed at coordinating a high volume of disability accommodations.
The Coordinator will serve as a first point of contact and respond to student inquiries regarding pre-approved classroom accommodations related to disabilities. Under the direction of the Associate Director of Student Affairs—who also takes on the role of Disability Services Liaison—the coordinator will oversee the intake process. This includes hiring intake personnel, managing note-taking services, and organizing various other services such as Communication Access Realtime Translation (CART) services, transcription services, sign language interpretation, and exam accommodations for a student body of over 130+ individuals requiring these services.
