Position Summary
The Technician B will manage animal colonies; they will be responsible for animals breeding and genotyping. They will also assist with tissue culture work and perform experiments of characterization of mitochondrial function and pathology, such as cell fractionation, western blot to measure mitochondrial proteins, qPCR to measure mtDNA copy number, and spectrophotometric measurement of mitochondrial respiratory chain activities, under supervision.

Minimum Qualifications
Requires a bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, physics or related science or equivalent in education, training and experience.
