Position Summary

The Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics is looking to hire Technician B to work in the laboratory of Dr. Glasgow. The candidate will be technical support staff for the Principal Investigator and other lab investigators, as needed.

Responsibilities

Duties will include, but are not limited to the following:

• Develop and optimize the PARROTS pipeline for producing HSA-traps.
• Perform assays and prepare solutions following detailed protocols and instructions.
• Set up and calibrate equipment for experiments.
• Execute fully planned experiments with precision and accuracy.
• Assist in the collection and processing of data.
• Maintain accurate records of experimental results and data.
• Order and manage laboratory supplies to ensure smooth operations.
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned/requested.

Minimum Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, physics, or related science or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
