The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
 

Position Summary

The Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience Lab, directed by Dr. Dima Amso, examines the development of attention, memory, and cognitive control. DCN Lab is currently focused on how learning proceeds in infancy, especially with regard to the neural development of attention and memory systems, and the how infants with and without genetic risk for autism develop. Under the supervision of the PI, the incumbent will provide assistance with research investigating infant and child behavioral and cognitive development. 


Responsibilities

  • Assists with recruitment and scheduling by reaching out to current or potential participants via phone and/or email to invite them to participate in studies, schedule upcoming visits, and otherwise remind participants about visits/study task completion on their end. 
  • Contributes to lab organization through maintenance of participant records in project databases, updating the shared participant visit calendar, and managing lab supplies necessary for daily office activities and specific research projects. 
  • Assists with data collection for behavioral tasks including but not limited to EEG, eye-tracking, and parent-child-interaction recordings. 
  • Performs related duties and responsibilities as assigned/requested.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 0-3 months in a research environment. 
  • High-school diploma or equivalent required.
