Reporting to the Program Manager for Student Life, Inclusion & Belonging, the Project Coordinator provides support for key University Life programs and initiatives focused on inclusion & belonging. This position provides administrative and logistical support for programs such as the e Graduate Initiative for Inclusion & Engagement, University Life’s signature events and Campus Conversations, among others.. This role requires an individual with a demonstrated passion for DEI, strong coordination skills, and the ability to swiftly adapt to changing needs, while effectively managing data collection and processing.
Responsibilities
Support the Program Manager for Inclusion and Belonging by providing strategic and administrative assistance for The Graduate Initiative for Inclusion and Engagement Program, including generating program ideas, coordinating logistics, managing day-to-day operations, and ensuring timely and effective execution of initiatives.
Collaborate with university departments, student organizations, and community partners to enhance program impact and foster an inclusive campus culture.
Overseeing data collection processes.
Provide logistical support for Student Life Initiatives including Welcome Week, and the Ambassador program.
Manage communication needs for events related to inclusion & belonging, including creating registration links, updating web pages, drafting content, and designing social media assets with Canva or similar tools.
Partner with Student Life team colleagues on the recruitment, selection, and onboarding of students serving as University Life Ambassadors.
Additional duties and projects as assigned, including backup support for other team functions, such as orientation programs and signature events.
This position will require some evening hours during the semester (i.e. 2-3 times in a given week), and very occasional weekend work (2-3 times per semester).
