The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Co-Principal Investigators, the selected candidate will provide essential support, coordination, and facilitation of daily project activities, playing a pivotal role in the execution of the the GLUTECH Trial, a five-year multi-center NIH-funded project aimed at investigating the impact of innovative gluten detection technologies on individuals with celiac disease. This role entails collaborating with personnel at all five study sites to oversee various administrative and budgetary aspects of the trial and assisting in the day-to-day management, which includes problem-solving, communication, and protocol management.


Responsibilities

  • Support the daily operations of The GLUTECH Trial project.
  • Schedule and facilitate committee meetings.
  • Aid in the training of team members.
  • Monitor recruitment and retention efforts.
  • Ensure adherence to study protocols as per the established plan.
  • Procure, log, and maintain necessary study supplies.
  • Coordinate with the Data Coordinating Center and Biorepository to guarantee the secure transfer of data and specimens.
  • Ensure timely payment of invoices.
  • Keep track of participant visit schedules.
  • Coordinate participant incentives and payments.
  • Perform additional related duties as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience, plus three years of related experience.
  • Master's degree would substitute for experience
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both the study team and participants.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate within an interdisciplinary team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong work ethic, exceptional organizational skills, resourcefulness, and a proactive approach to tasks.

Other Requirements

  • Successful completion of applicable compliance and systems training requirements.
