Position Summary

The position serves as a lab assistant for the Translational Neurobiology of Development lab. The lab aims to use mouse models to investigate developmental factors associated with typical and atypical social behaviors, repetitive behaviors, and cognitive systems. Our mouse models include genetic mouse models, modified maternal uterine environment, and manipulated juvenile environments. The position will help with lab experiments and maintaining the our mouse colonies.  


Responsibilities

  • Coordination and execution of laboratory experiments.
  • Maintenance of mouse colony.
  • Performs related duties & responsibilities as assigned/requested.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Neuroscience experience and experience with laboratory techniques.
  • Experience MATLAB, Arduino, and Prism.
  • Adept with detail-oriented tasks.
  • Thinks critically about tasks.

Other Requirements

  • Must successfully complete all online systems training requirements.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Complete proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Able to lift at least 10 pounds.
