Position Summary

We are seeking a Short-Term Casual/research assistant (RA) to support a collaborative project between Columbia and Weill-Cornell to establish a cross-institution multi-modal data platform for Alzheimer’s Disease. The RA will support the curation, harmonization, and integration of multi-modal datasets— including EHR, imaging, genomic, and survey data—across Columbia and Cornell. A key focus will be establishing a cross-institutional data platform that ensures data compatibility and consistency, enabling joint analyses and external validation of predictive models across sites.


Responsibilities

  • Tasks include organizing and documenting data sources - 25%
  • standardizing variable definitions and coding schemes - 25%
  • ensuring quality control across institutional boundaries - 25%
  • Performs related duties & responsibilities as assigned/requested - 25%

 


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in biostatistics, data science, or other related field.
