Position Summary
The Lead IVF Coordinator provides ongoing clinical and operational support to the nursing team while working under the direct supervision of the Senior Nurse Manager. This role supports daily nursing operations through direct supervision of nursing staff, promotes high-quality patient care by providing primary nursing care to patients when required, and serves as a key clinical resource for nursing staff. The Lead IVF Coordinator plays a vital role in staff coordination, communication, and workflow efficiency, while maintaining alignment with organizational policies and leadership direction. At this senior level, the Lead IVF Coordinator may be asked to travel to site locations to train staff or review processes with staff, providers, and managers.
Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
Requires a bachelor’s degree in nursing or equivalent in education and experience, plus 4 years or more of related experience.
Current New York State RN License.
BLS Certification.
Supervisory experience.
Travel between clinical sites may be required depending on need.
Duties performed routinely require exposure to blood, bodily fluid, and tissue. Incumbent in expected to perform and/or/assist in emergency care and/or first aid as needed.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with infertility nursing.
Ability to work with diverse populations
Ability to set priorities and exercise sound judgment.
Ability to work effectively and efficiently with a small team of dedicated employees, resolving systematic problems in a proactive way.
Excellent organizational and written/oral communication skills.
Excellent triage and clinical skills.
EHR/computer skills.
