The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Human Resources, the HR Recruitment Representative serves as a key member of the department, responsible for managing and facilitating the daily Human Resources recruitment activities for CUFO.   


Responsibilities

  • Serves as the primary member in the department responsible for the accuracy of all administrative transactions related to recruitment and onboarding.
  • In collaboration with IT, ensures equipment set-up and space for all new hires is set up in advance of start date.
  • The representative works closely with the recruitment group and others to process transactions related to the recruitment activities in CUFO, including planning and attending job fairs.
  • In addition, the recruitment representative resolves routine HR matters in a timely and efficient manner as they relate to the recruitment and onboarding process within CUFO.
  • Assist in responding to human resources-related issues/concerns and escalate more complex issues to senior HR leadership.
  • The recruitment representative exemplifies a proactive, customer-centered HR philosophy and contributes to the department’s continual strive for excellence, effective collaboration, and efficiency at all times. Along with other members of the HR team, they will enhance the department's talent pipeline and improve sourcing strategies.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent related experience required. 0 to 2 years of related experience required. 
  • Strong understanding of staffing principles, laws, and procedures, and a solid working knowledge of recruitment/employment programs. 
  • Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
  • Must be able to work independently, as well as part of a team. Additionally, must demonstrate discretion, possess strong organizational, verbal, written, and time management skills, be able to multitask, be resourceful, demonstrate keen attention to detail, and follow through on every task.
  • Must be able to manage highly sensitive and confidential communications with discretion and integrity.
  • Must be service-oriented, well organized, and detail-oriented with strong project, time, and office management skills and the ability to prioritize, think critically, identify potential issues, and offer solutions.
  • MS Suite and Google Applications experience required. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least two years’ experience in full-cycle recruitment and hiring process strongly preferred. 
  • Knowledge of HR, Applicant Tracking Systems, and familiarity with current employment laws strongly preferred.
