The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
 

Position Summary

The Financial Analyst provides financial support and assists with special projects for multiple clinical departments. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Budget and Finance, responsibilities include the following:


Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
    1. Compile financial reports using excel and adobe acrobat professional software
  • Responsible for preparing monthly allocations
    1. Areas include but are not limited to FPO assessments, Outsourcing, Pacific Interpreters, Tele Intrado, Core billing, Management allocations, transfers, etc.
    2. Responsible for ensuring accurate accounting in the core revenue cycle and other clinical management accounts
  • Prepare numerous and varied reports to include HeartSource and Strategic Communications
    1. Provides data reports and supporting documentation for inter-departmental transfers 
  • Management of AIMHI Space and off-site rentals
    1. Responsible for monthly allocations, quarterly and annual reporting
    2. Actively updating databases with new or termed spaces. As well as updating chartstring information, etc.
    3. Management of lease agreements and or contracts
  • Management of MSO’s
    1. Responsible for accurately preparing and tracking invoices in a timely manner.
    2. Prepare quarterly accruals
    3. Assist in and/or prepare Ad hoc reports
    4. Provide financial statement for PO requests
  • Assist with special projects and adhoc reports that often require preparation on short notice with limited information.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experienced required.

  • Must have strong analytical abilities.
  • Must be able to manage and analyze large and complex data sets with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Must be able to manage a high volume workload.
  • Must have strong organizational skills and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Must be detail oriented and be able to handle competing priorities.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills required; excellent customer service.
