Position Summary
The Women’s Genetic Center in the Department of Ob/GYN is seeking a Faculty Practice Associate to support the operational, clinical, and financial performance of a growing, highly specialized clinical genetic program. This role is a key operational leader who serves as a central point of coordination across clinical teams, administration, revenue cycle, finance, and managed care partners.
The Faculty Practice Associate plays a critical role in ensuring efficient day-to-day operations while supporting program growth, patient access, and financial sustainability. The individual in this role will analyze operational and revenue cycle data, identify gaps and opportunities, and implement process improvements that enhance performance across the practice. The ideal candidate is proactive, analytical, and collaborative, with experience navigating complex healthcare operations in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in healthcare operations, revenue cycle, practice management, or a related administrative role.
Strong working knowledge of billing, coding, payor policies, and reimbursement processes.
Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial and operational data and translate findings into actionable insights.
Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast paced or start up healthcare environment.
