Position Summary
The Department of Biomedical Informatics (DBMI) at Columbia University Irving Medical Center is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Development Coordinator to support the fundraising efforts for the department and for the Observational Health Data Sciences and Informatics OHDSI (https://ohdsi.org/) Coordinating Center. The Development Coordinator will play a critical role in soliciting industry sponsors, seeking private foundational support, and identifying grant opportunities to advance the mission of DBMI and OHDSI.
This is a 12-month temporary position. Based on fundraising productivity this position may be extended.

The Department of Biomedical Informatics at CUIMC is a leader in the field of informatics, focusing on the development and application of computational methods to understand and improve health and healthcare.
About OHDSI
Observational Health Data Sciences and Informatics (OHDSI) is a multi-stakeholder, interdisciplinary collaborative that aims to bring out the value of observational health data through large-scale analytics. The OHDSI Coordinating Center, based at CUIMC, plays a central role in facilitating the network's research and development activities.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, business, public health or related field, and/or equivalent in education and experience.
