The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
Position Summary
The Data Abstractor will be responsible for data abstraction and data entry and concurrent/retrospective data review for the ACC, STS, TVT and LAAO databases as indicated by the Manager of Quality for all internal and external regulatory functions both mandatory and voluntary.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Manager of Quality for Columbia HeartSource responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide regular bi-weekly data review/abstraction productivity reports to Manager of Quality.
- Provide ongoing quality review of the data as determined by the affiliate needs and Quality Management Team.
- Support the Quality Management Team with data related to identification of quality improvement opportunities, performance improvement activities and focus studies.
- Support sites in validation of data files and facilitate timely reporting with all mandatory and voluntary harvest schedules in mind.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent in education and experience, BSN preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft office.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years plus related nursing data management preferred
