The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
 

Position Summary

We are seeking a part-time Student Research Worker at the School of Nursing to work on a project focused on developing, tailoring, and evaluating visualizations of sleep health measures using participants’ personalized sleep data. Under the supervision of the Principal Investigator, the Research Assistant will assist in the implementation of this study.

Ideal candidates will have previous experience conducting health research and working in a team-oriented environment with frequent interaction with research participants, graduate students, and research staff.

This is a grant-funded position, and employment is contingent upon continued funding.


Responsibilities

  • Recruit individuals for participation in the study.
  • Conduct all research activities in accordance with study protocols and other appropriate institutional regulations, procedures, and policies, including procedures to safeguard the confidentiality of study participants.
  • Administer structured interviews.
  • Conduct semi-structured interviews.
  • Track the collection, submission, and cleaning of study data.
  • Assist with the analysis of qualitative data.
  • Assist with REDCap database design, security, data storage, and management.
  • Complete literature reviews as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Requires a bachelor's degree.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with electronic data capture systems.
  • Organized and able to multitask in a diverse research environment.
  • Flexibility in workload and work hours to meet deadlines and recruitment goals.
  • Capable of working effectively in research groups.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in research or healthcare.
