Position Summary
The Clinical Research Coordinator I will serve as the clinical coordinator for the Abate-Shen and Shen Labs and the central liaison for the Mark Foundation Center for Lineage Plasticity at Columbia University Irving Medical Center (CUIMC), supporting translational and clinical research studies in urologic and genitourinary oncology.
This role will manage day-to-day study operations across multiple protocols, including patient-facing coordination, biospecimen collection, and clinical data management. This role will work closely with physicians, surgeons, research staff, and external partners to ensure high quality data collection and regulatory compliance. This role will coordinate complex workflows across concurrent studies, applying judgment to prioritize tasks and address challenges as they arise; it will also contribute to process improvements and support guidance of new research staff.
