Position Summary
The Clinical Research Aide will be working with the Principal Investigator, research faculty and staff to support two research programs. First research program is a study aiming to understand and improve of mental health among racially and ethnically minoritized families and those living in low resource communities. Projects will involve working with pregnant women, parents, and their children assessing the relationship between parental experiences and children’s behavioral and neurodevelopment. Second research program aims to understand characteristics of patients with anxiety disorders. Projects will involve assisting with IRB amendments, data management and quality assurance. The Clinical Research Aide will be responsible for supporting tasks essential for ongoing studies. The candidate will learn the operations of a research study from developing culturally appropriate data collection measures, participant recruitment and retention, and data collection to address study aims and hypothesis.
