Position Summary
The postdoctoral traineeship is a 12 months position (six positions) designed for recent graduates of an APA approved clinical or counseling PhD PsyD psychology program who are seeking licensure and are interested in receiving supervised experience in college mental health practice. Under the supervision of licensed clinicians, the postdoctoral trainee provides direct clinical services to patients served by Columbia Health Counseling and Psychological Services (CPS). Trainees are provided extensive supervision with senior clinicians working in a wide range of treatment modalities, participation in a continual case conference on the application of psychodynamic thinking to college mental health practice, a weekly seminar, access to in-service presentations and other professional development opportunities.

Applicants may indicate a preference for elective training in up to two of the following areas: Eating Disorder Concerns, Trauma Support, Behavioral Health, Outreach & Consultation. In addition to standard application materials, applicants must submit a de-identified clinical writing sample.
