The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
 

Position Summary

The Department of Pediatric Allergy and Immunology at Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons is seeking a new mid-career physician as Assistant Clinical Pediatric Allergist/Immunologist or a seasoned physician as Associate Clinical Pediatric Allergist/Immunologist. This position will involve working at a new, large multi-specialty medical practice in Westchester White Plains, adjacent to New York City.

In this role, you will participate in providing the highest level of care to patients in the department of pediatric allergy and immunology.


Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional, specialized patient care with consistently excellent outcomes.
  • Contribute to departmental initiatives, including quality improvement and patient safety efforts.
  • Engage in continuing medical education (CME) and maintain relevant advanced certifications.
  • Serve as a trusted resource for complex cases and high-acuity patients.
  • Achieve and maintain high patient satisfaction scores.
  • Meet or exceed productivity targets
  • Lead initiatives to improve clinical workflows, patient outcomes, or healthcare delivery systems.
  • Act as a liaison between clinical staff and organizational leadership, ensuring alignment of goals.
  • Oversee clinical teams or programs, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Represent the department or institution in professional or public-facing roles.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum Degree Required:

  • Doctor in Medicine 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Board certified or eligible
  • New York State Medical License
  • Fellowship training in the respective subspecialty
  • 0-5 years post training
  • 5-10 years post training (Associate Clinical Pediatric Allergist/Immunologist position)
