Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory
Position Summary
Supports the Manager of Facilities in all aspects of day-to-day facilities operations and is competent to sustain department operations in the manager’s absence, especially including critical and emergency operations on a 24/7 basis. Broad responsibilities include operation, maintenance, construction and renovation of the campus buildings and grounds, and interdepartmental coordination to ensure compliance with codes and regulations. Specific responsibilities involve supporting the supervision of maintenance work force, procurement of supplies & services, and project management, including forecasting and cost tracking.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required and minimum of 2-4 years related experience with 1 year of supervisory experience included. Has a workable knowledge of the Campus BMS system.
