Situated in the Jerome L. Greene Science Center on Columbia’s Manhattanville campus, the state-of-the-art building offers an environment where the highest level of scholarly scientific research takes place on a daily basis, with the benefit of being located in the heart of New York, one of the world’s most vibrant and culturally rich cities.
The Zuckerman Institute at Columbia University is seeking a flexible and highly motivated individual to serve as the Administrative Lab Manager to represent these respective labs: Goldberg, Gottlieb and Ferrera.
Responsibilities include administrative and research support for faculty and lab members as well as managing relationships with the Department of Neuroscience and other affiliated organizations.
Primary responsibilities include direction for lab purchasing, financial planning and expense monitoring, research grants and contracts, compliance oversight, seminar and event scheduling, and ensuring efficient high-functioning infrastructure to support research and educational missions.
This is a part-time 21 hours per week in-person position.
