Position Summary
The department is seeking a motivated individual to assist/work on Stem Cell Regenerative Medicine to treat inherited dystrophies leading to blindness. diseases include retinitis pigmentosa, age-related macular degeneration, and Stargardt disease. The Technician B would be responsible for aiding the PI in performing administrative and writing-based tasks to support this research. They would also be responsible for helping laboratory members with manuscript editing and IRB/IACUC management, phenotype patients with known DNA mutations and testing the efficacy of stem cell transplantation and gene therapy.
