Position Summary

The Research Study Assistant will support ongoing translational biomedical research activities in the Gabr Laboratory, contributing to compound and reagent preparation and to biochemical and cell-based experimental work under the supervision of the Principal Investigator.


Responsibilities

  • Prepare compounds and reagents for laboratory experiments.
  • Perform biochemical binding and cell-based assays.
  • Support mammalian cell culture, ELISA, and related protein-based assays.
  • Assist with sample processing and the collection and analysis of experimental data.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate experimental records.
  • Assist with the preparation of data for laboratory meetings.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • Current undergraduate student in biochemistry, chemistry, biology, or a related field.
  • Coursework or prior laboratory experience relevant to biomedical or translational research.
  • Strong attention to detail, reliable record-keeping, and the ability to follow experimental protocols.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a research team.
