Position Summary
The purpose of this Research Assistant position is to assist in the different aspects of clinical research studies. The position has both clinical and administrative components. Clinical research tasks include: participant screening, recruitment and monitoring, blood drawing and aliquoting, presenting at our research meetings, reporting on study progress and milestone goals, and guiding participants through other study and clinical procedures. Administrative tasks include: organizing participant’ records, tracking data return, collecting documents from doctors, editing documents, tracking and scheduling participants, data entry, answering telephone and email queries, shipping blood samples and documents, copying and filing, keeping meeting minutes, and assisting with IRB communications and annual updates.
