Position Summary
The Regulatory Compliance Specialist (RCS) provides administrative, operational, and programmatic support for research compliance programs administered by the Office of Research Compliance and Training (RCT), with an approximate 70/30 split between export controls/international research compliance and conflict of interest/research misconduct activities. The RCS reports to the Senior Director of Research Security Export Controls.
Responsibilities

Working at the direction of the Director of Export Controls and International Engagement, the RCS will:
Conflict of Interest (COI) and Other Areas (30%)
Working at the direction of the Director for Research Compliance, the RCS will engage in the following activities:
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, required. Exposure to an academic, scientific or regulatory environment is a plus. Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills are required. Must be detail-oriented, organized, and have proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Google Docs. Ability to maintain confidentiality is essential.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree preferred.
Experience in research administration, compliance, higher education administration, regulatory affairs, or related fields preferred.
