Position Summary
Reporting to the Principal Investigator (PI) of the MINERALS Project, the incumbent will be responsible for providing broad administrative support for the MINERALS Project at the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory (LDEO) to ensure the smooth execution of administrative and programmatic activities. The incumbent will be responsible for working with the PI to coordinate activities of the MINERALS scientific team; to enhance the team’s internal and external communications (including social media); to serve as administrative point-of-contact for the MINERALS team within the Seismology, Geology, and Tectonophysics Division; and to coordinate seminars and workshops associated with this project. The incumbent will work with the team designing, implementing, and maintaining a mineral properties database for geophysical modeling developed as part of the MINERALS Project.
