The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
 

Position Summary

The position involves assisting the PI to manage and analyze data and samples from planned, ongoing and completed epidemiologic studies. This includes cleaning and creating databases for completed studies with appropriate documentation, creation of analytic databases, and undertaking statistical analyses of existing data for write up of reports, abstracts and manuscripts. The position involves establishing systems for tracking samples, images and other data and developing quality control systems. The position also involves independent design, initiation and conduct of statistical analyses for write-up for publication as well as planning for future studies.


Responsibilities

  • Data management and cleaning of existing data.
  • Conducting analyses for progress reports and abstracts/manuscripts.
  • Assembling and reviewing literature from related studies.
  • Preparing documents needed for regulatory and IRB review.
  • Establishing databases for samples and images in storage.
  • Developing tracking systems and quality control of samples.
  • Generating new ideas for manuscripts and studies.
  • Providing statistical analysis support to the study team.
  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned/requested.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience, plus three years of related experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in quantitative field.
  • Experience in management and analysis of data from epidemiologic studies.
  • Proficiency in statistical software R-Studio or SAS.
