Position Summary
Under the direction of the Chief Physician Assistant, the Variable Hours Officer - Physician Assistant (per diem) will provide services to the Emergency Medicine Department at New York Presbyterian Hospital. Locations include Columbia University Irving Medical Center and Allen Hospital. Schedule will be arranged by Chief Physician Assistant and hours are not to exceed an average of 20 hours per week.
Individual will perform a variety of functions and technical procedures necessary for admission, assessment, diagnosis, treatment, follow-up and outcome evaluation of patients and participate in performance improvement, research and educational activities.

Minimum Qualifications
Requires a bachelor’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program or equivalent in education, plus four years of related experience.
