Position Summary
The variable hours officer will provide general support to the principal investigator. Duties will include assisting in reviewing and preparing biosketches, budget justifications for foreign collaborators, and human subjects sections, preparing and presenting preliminary data, and locating, entering, and editing references and other documents needed for multi-site grant submissions. The variable hours officer will perform additional related duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
Assisting in preparation of scientific sections of Grant proposals - 45%
Assisting in preparation of programmatic and administrative portions of NIH Grant submissions -50%
Other related duties as assigned- 5%
Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree and 2 years related experience.
The successful candidate must possess a high level of grant writing and grant preparation. The candidate must also be bilingual with native level fluency in Spanish in order to communicate appropriately with the scientific members of the extended study team.
Preferred Qualifications
A master’s degree and experience with grant writing preferred.
