Position Summary

The primary role of this position is to support clinical research involving Maternal Fetal Medicine Research. The employee will interact with parents, their children and research staff as it relates to clinical research protocols and grant funded clinical trials, being implemented in the outpatient setting. The outpatient setting includes clinics, research offices, or research participants home.

Responsibilities

• Administer neuropsychological assessments of children in clinical research protocols for multi-site NIH-funded studies on child development. 
• Complete assessment specific booklets/forms and address questions/queries on case report forms
• The examiner will travel to testing location, CUIMC or participant’s home

Minimum Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in education and experience, plus three years of related experience
• This position requires that the applicant have experience in the administration of neuropsychological assessments, namely Differential Ability Scales -II School-Age and Cognitive, Motor and Language Scores from the Bayley Scales of Infant and Toddler Development 4 (Bayley IV).
• Demonstrate licensure and/or education certification to administer neuropsychological assessments
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Flexibility in accommodating neuro-assessments outside business hours

Preferred Qualifications

• Spanish Speaking

Other Requirements 

• Examiners will be required to video record an actual assessment test of an age-appropriate child not participating in the study and submit it for review and certification by a central reviewer (gold standard).
• To maintain certification, the examiner must submit a certification video on a semi-annual basis (every two years).
