Position Summary

To hire a VHO (Research Coordinator) to assist a national study that is investigating predictors of weight loss maintenance in healthy adults, including assisting the study procedures after having been trained/certified. Coordinating on-site participant study visits and data entry.

Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Principal Investigators for a national study that is investigating predictors of weight loss maintenance in healthy adults.
  • Assists with study procedures after having been trained/certified.
  • Assists with coordination and preparation for on-site participant study visits.
  • Performs data entry.
  • Attend virtual and in-person Steering committee meetings, and virtual Coordinators meetings, as needed.
  • Present information at weekly staff meetings to Principal Investigators.
  • Performs related duties & responsibilities as assigned/requested.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in education and experience required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Two years of related experience.
  • Bilingual in Spanish; Experience as a clinical research coordinator; Lifestyle intervention research experience.

  • Must be flexible, highly organized, and able to manage individual study participants.
  • Excellent organization, and communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate, interpret, share and present information to management and research investigators and staff.
  • Computer proficiency.
  • Experience with data collection.
  • Ability to perform light level of physical activity.
  • Available for occasional weekend procedures. Candidate must Successfully undergo a background check prior to receiving a final offer of employment.
