Position Summary
A technician position is available in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology to in a dynamic interactive laboratory studying mouse and human immunology.
Responsibilities
Duties include maintaining the laboratory’s mouse colony, including breeding, genotyping, mouse dissection, and assisting lab members in their mouse projects. Other duties may include assisting to process human samples for immunological assays, cell culture, and molecular biology techniques including transcriptome profiling, and participating in cutting edge research. Qualified applicants for this position will have a BS degree in biology, or related science or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Most work will be conducted during regular business hours however due to the nature of this research some flexibility is possible/desired.
