Position Summary
Dr. Teich's lab focuses on Alzheimer’s disease, but through multiple collaborations we also have projects that address other neurodegenerative diseases of aging. Proficiency with the Linux environment and experience analyzing data using R is required, and proficiency with MATLAB and Python is highly desirable. Our laboratory is a wet/dry lab that does both experimental work as well as computational analysis of genome and genomic expression data. The job candidate would thus have the opportunity to work in an integrated environment and further his or her exposure to experimental “wet-lab” science. The PI is also the Director of the New York Brain Bank, and this serves as a resource both for our research as well as for the education of laboratory members in neurodegenerative disease biology.
