Position Summary

The candidate will participate in the collection and analysis of maternal/fetal/infant physiological and behavioral data in support of research on the effects of prenatal exposures to a variety of risk factors such as premature birth, and neurodevelopmental disorders or delays.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with high density EEG studies, cross sensory associative learning paradigms, and developmental assessments of children.
• Preparation, processing, entering, and analysis of data collected.
• Candidate will follow research protocols as outlined in our standard operating procedures and the IRB protocol.
• Candidate will report to a supervisor daily, typically via email or slack or written QC reports and documentation.
• Send a weekly summary report with the research project administrator, as well as attend and participate in weekly lab and grant meetings.
• Perform related duties & responsibilities as assigned/requested.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology or physics or related science or equivalent in education, training and experience.

Other Requirements

• Must successfully complete all online systems training requirements.
• Prior research experience working with children.
• Experience with Eye Link 1000 plus equipment and relevant hardware/software.
• Experience with processing EEG data using MADE pipeline.
• Experience handling equipment to measure auditory function (OAE/ABR) in infants.
• Proficiency in using the following software applications: REDCap, MATLAB, and Excel.
• Bilingual and experienced in reading, writing and communicating in Spanish.
